Former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum came out as bisexual in an interview with Tamron Hall that aired Monday, six months after he was found inebriated and vomiting in a Miami hotel room. Paramedics and police officers responding to a call about a possible drug overdose in that hotel room set up crystal meth when they arrived. A male sex worker was there, too.
In a long, almost entirely somber interview, Gillum told Hall he’s “cried every day” since that March incident. “What was most hurtful was this conviction that I was somehow living a lie in my marriage and in my family,” he said. His wife of more than a decade, R. In a clip posted today, ex-Tallahassee mayor and former Democratic nominee for Florida governor Andrew Gillum spoke openly about his sexuality with Tamron Hall on the debut of Season 2 of her nationally syndicated talkshow, informing the host that he identifies as bisexual.
“You didn&#;t ask the question, you put it out there of whether I determine as gay,&#; Gillum said. &#;The answer is I don’t identify as homosexual but I do determine as bisexual. And that is something that I’ve never shared publicly before.”
Gillum has not spoken to the press since Rally when he was create in a Miami Beach hotel room where another man allegedly overdosed.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Andrew Gillum, Florida's Democratic nominee for governor in , told a television interviewer he is bisexual, responding to rumors swirling since March after he was found intoxicated and unconscious in a hotel room with two men, including one who works as a male escort.
"I don't identify as gay but I do identify as bisexual," Gillum told Tamron Hall on her syndicated talk show, which aired Monday. "And that is something that I have never joint publicly before."
The former Tallahassee mayor, 41, appeared on the reveal with his wife, R. Jai. They have three young children. He did not return a call Monday from The Related Press seeking comment.
