The purpose of massage is to help alleviate and treat the effects of stressors on a daily basis. These stressors are postural strains, mental, and/or psychological stress. Ultimately, how we cope with stress can influence our body’s physiology, which can change organ systems, pain thresholds, mental clarity, sleep, digestion, range of motion, and overall vibrance and vitality. My career, study, and perform have been to understand how to rebalance our bodies and buffer the effects of force.
I specialize in deep tissue with an emphasis on myofascial release. Pressure is adjusted to the client’s level of comfort while still promoting the release of tissues with minimal discomfort. My massages start with the resetting of the nervous system with the augmentation of four senses – sight, smell, touch, and sound. This creates an environment that allows a healing environment to occur. I have a few custom-made playlists that are created to help attune to my client’s needs.
